Come explore your current patterns of
emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and relationships
so you can find and lean-in to your best self.
Bobbie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who gained her Master of Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University. She works with individuals 18+ and partners in committed relationships. She welcomes all to her practice.
She started out by teaching at Portland State University, and then spending 25 years in the Seattle tech industry. Throughout her careers Bobbie has focused on enablement and skill building and sees counseling as an extension of that. Helping clients gain the tools and skills they need to make changes toward their best life is her mission.
She's a direct therapist, and often works from perspectives of Acceptance and Commitment therapy (acknowledging what is, and committing to change), Emotion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and honoring the mind-body connection through nervous system regulation.
She brings a lifetime of experience as a mother, teacher, geek, care giver, cancer survivor, and dog mom. A professional communicator for 25 years, she also holds a MA in Rhetoric and Communication.

We began Winter Sage believing that you as the client are the expert on you, and see the therapeutic relationship as one based on collaboration and respect. Coming to therapy is simultaneously powerfully taking your health into your own hands, and expressing vulnerability in looking for guidance to do so. We seek to honor both your power and your vulnerability.
Therapy can help shift something within our control or change how we relate to things outside our control. This might look like understanding why we're repeating personal patterns and what we can do to change them, or developing healthy strategies and boundaries to deal with people, places, and things we can't change. We'll work to identify the patterns of emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and relationships currently showing up in your life, and how you might want to adjust them to live a life more in alignment with what you truly value. A life enabling you to find and lean-in to your best self.
You will be supported in defining and navigating changes to your life that support your wellbeing, so that you can experience relief and growth through insight and change. If you’re ready to dive in, our clinicians are ready to be in it with you, offering support and resources, challenging you to remember why you started, and cheering your progress. Whatever you're dealing with, we are here to help.
We often work with trauma, PTSD, relational issues, depression, anxiety, illness/caregiving, and life/work balance and happiness.
Let’s explore working together to help you live a value-based life with more ease, joy, and balance even in these difficult times. You're worth it.
Please contact us and we will get back to you quickly.
Behold the turtle! She only moves forward by sticking her neck out. Strength and vulnerability move us forward.
